I’d love to come perform my poems at your venue, in your backyard, your local library, or wherever. I can tailor my reading to thematically suit your occasion, if desired, or I can just read what I’m feeling on the day. Zoom or in-person! From 15 minute spotlights, to hour-long marathon poetry sessions, this is one of my favorite things about being a poet.
workshops
$50-100/hr, Sliding Scale
I occasionally lead poetry workshops, either in person or on Zoom for groups up to 15. These workshops can be generative or editing focused. My latest workshop was how to write animal poems to explore the human condition.
editing
$10-25/poem, $75-250/chapbook, $150-500/full-length, Sliding Scale
I provide editing services for poetry, with in-line critiques and big picture feedback, tailored to what you’re seeking. I also offer an editing service I’m calling “the honey roast edit” in which I only tell you what’s working. This can be a nice gift for yourself in a literary world where rejection can feel unrelenting.
Coaching
$Free, or Pay It Forward
I’m happy to provide advice to new poets who are figuring out how, when, and where to submit their work for publication, whether or not to compete in poetry slam, or how to approach chapbook-making, for example. Within reason, this is free of charge.
